Meet the Committee 2021
We are all students volunteering part-time to help run the society. From training and logistics to unit manager and social sec, we have loads of opportunities to be on committee!

Unit Manager (UM)

Ensuring the smooth running of both unit and society.
James
Unit Events Lead (UESL)
I help get our volunteers out on events! I book people on, ensure there is a friendly face, and work with logistics to ensure people have the right kit.

I sort most of the admin behind weekly sessions and any extra society events. I am the main go-between for the Guild.

Unit Training Lead
Training lead is responsible for the weekly training sessions as well as helping unit members take part in external St. John Training and organising training for members of the local community.

Unit CFR Lead
CFR Lead organises any community first response work. They also help support the events lead and assist new first aiders with their skills.
Marina
Unit Logistics Lead
Logistics involves ensuring everyone has the right kit for events, and training aids are looked after.

Treasurer
As treasurer, it’s my job to look after all things financial; especially applying for grants from the guild and following up repayments to volunteers ‘
Marvin
Unit Fundraising Lead
My role is to relieve our financial pressue by raising funds for the society. I run a series of events throughout the year and support wider unit affairs.
